Demonstration Day at Sutter's Fort

Come by Sutter's Fort State Historic Park for a day of hands-on learning and history. You can get a look at the activities usually reserved for school field trips, including interactive stations and presentations about life in the 1840s.

Demonstrations include:

• Blacksmithing
• Cooking
• Spinning wool into yarn
• Cooperage and carpentry
• Overland migration lessons at the wagon

As a bonus, your visit includes free admission to the State Indian Museum on the day of the event.
