Watercolor Meditations - A Mindful Art Workshop

About this event
Join local artist and instructor Catherine Taylor as she guides you in using watercolor as a meditative and mindfulness tool. This class focuses on the process of creating and less on the final product. Students will learn several techniques for creating soothing art pieces that are both meditative and beautiful, reflecting your inner world. At the end of this workshop, you will have the tools to create your own art meditation practice. Art meditation has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, boost creativity and mood, and improve focus. Classes will be held at The Learnery/Sierra 2 Center in Curtis Park.
