The Honeycomb Project

The Mills Station Arts & Cultural Center hosts The Honeycomb Project, a traveling exhibition focused on themes of resilience and social connection. The installation uses the honeycomb as a metaphor for how individuals are linked through their environment.

This exhibit features approximately 900 panels contributed by more than 500 artists from 14 states. The 2026 presentation at the MACC also highlights the work of spotlight artist Frank Lopez Motnyk, who examines community ties throughout Northern California.
