Renial Del Rosario's "State Affairs" solo exhibition

Public Land Gallery presents State Affairs, a solo exhibition featuring new ceramic sculptures by artist Reniel Del Rosario. The collection explores the tension between local identity and the repetitive, copy-and-paste nature of modern county and state fairs.

Del Rosario examines how fairground staples—from carnival prizes to deep-fried snacks—have become interchangeable spectacles across California. By recreating these familiar objects in clay, the artist turns them into monuments that question themes of consumption, competition, and cultural value.
