The Center for Musical Arts is proud to welcome local legend Jacob Swedlow and his acoustic group for an evening of world-class jazz. Stepping away from the electric energy of his project the Lab Rats, Swedlow brings together the same elite caliber of musicians to explore a rich, acoustic jazz context. Having shared stages with icons like Tower of Power, Braxton Cook, and the GZA, and frequently headlining Sacramento staples like Harlow’s and the Torch Club, Swedlow’s latest project is a thrilling evolution of his sound that you won’t want to miss. At the Center The Center for Musical Arts proudly presents our “at the Center” concert series, where our goal is to give Sacramento musicians the event space they deserve. Music school by day, concert venue by night—our listening room features a stage, baby grand piano, and an intimate 30-seat capacity.
