Join us for a beary special weekend at the zoo! Join the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary for Black Bear Awareness Weekend on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fun and educational event celebrates National Black Bear Day and shines a spotlight on our beloved resident bears. Wander through the zoo and stop by educational tables, hands-on activities, and docent-led talks to learn all about black bear behavior, habitat, and conservation. Guests can also enjoy special feedings and training demonstrations that offer an up-close look at how we care for our bears. Regular zoo sanctuary admission fees apply.
